The EZI-SERVOII-CL-20L-F is a miniature NEMA 8 (20mm) closed-loop stepper motor system, designed for ultra-compact precision applications. As the "L" (Long) version of the 20mm series, it offers the highest torque available in this frame size (0.025 N·m). It features an integrated "F" Type (4,000 PPR) optical encoder, delivering reliable closed-loop feedback in a package small enough for handheld devices, optical shutters, and biomedical analyzers.
Miniature NEMA 8 Size: With a flange size of just 20mm, this is one of the smallest closed-loop motors available, perfect for applications where even a NEMA 11 (28mm) motor is too large.
Maximum Torque in Class: The Long stack design ("L") delivers 0.025 N·m of holding torque, providing sufficient force for small mechanisms while maintaining a tiny footprint.
4,000 PPR Resolution: Equipped with the "F" Type encoder (4,000 pulses/revolution). While lower than the larger motors, this resolution is optimized for the 20mm motor's dynamics, providing 16,000 steps/rev (in 4x mode) for precise positioning.
Closed Loop Control: Prevents step-out by continuously monitoring position, ensuring the motor completes its move even if load fluctuates.
Stable Stop: Like larger Ezi-SERVO motors, it holds its stop position without oscillation (hunting), essential for vibration-sensitive optics.
