The MD5-HF14 is a high-precision 5-phase stepper motor driver designed for low-current applications. Like the HF28 model, it operates directly on 100-220 VAC power, eliminating the need for a separate DC power supply. It features advanced microstepping capabilities, allowing for smooth rotation and high-resolution control up to 250 divisions.
AC Power Input: Accepts wide range power input of 100-220 VAC (50/60 Hz).
Microstepping Control: Supports high resolution with up to 250 divisions. A standard 0.72° step angle motor can be controlled down to 0.00288° per pulse.
Low Noise & Vibration: The microstepping drive method ensures low-speed rotation and extreme precision control with minimal vibration.
Noise Immunity: Uses an isolated photocoupler input design to minimize influence from external electrical noise.
Protection Functions:
Auto Current Down: Automatically reduces current when the motor stops to prevent overheating.
Self-Diagnosis: Features alarm indicators for Overheat (over 80°C) and Overcurrent conditions.
