The MD5-HF28 is a high-performance 5-phase stepper motor driver designed for precise industrial control. Unlike standard DC drivers, this unit supports direct 100-220 VAC power input, eliminating the need for a separate switching mode power supply (SMPS). It features advanced microstepping technology, allowing for extremely smooth rotation and high-resolution positioning even at low speeds.

Wide AC Power Input: Supports 100-220 VAC (50/60 Hz) input, making it versatile for various installation environments.

High Precision Microstepping: Offers up to 250 divisions (resolution). For a standard 0.72° step angle motor, it can control down to 0.00288° per pulse.

Low Noise & Vibration: The microstepping drive ensures smooth operation and minimizes vibration in the low-speed range.

Noise Immunity: Isolated photocoupler input design protects the signal from electrical noise.

Safety Functions:

Auto Current Down: Automatically reduces current when the motor stops to minimize heat generation.

Self-Diagnosis: Built-in alarm indicators for Overheat (over 80°C) and Overcurrent protection.
